Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 2026
MailPurge ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome Extension operates and handles your data.
1. Zero Data Collection
MailPurge is built with a strict privacy-first architecture. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any of your personal data, emails, or browsing history to any external servers.
2. How the Extension Works (Local Execution)
MailPurge requires permissions to access webmail URLs (such as mail.google.com and outlook.live.com). This permission is used strictly to automate the manual process of selecting and deleting emails.
- All email scanning and filtering logic is executed 100% locally on your own computer within your browser.
- No email content ever leaves your machine.
- Every action the extension takes is fully visible to the end user in real-time as it interacts directly with the website's interface on your behalf.
3. Data Storage
Any configuration settings (such as your saved filters, selected email provider, and custom rules) are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). This data is kept on your physical device and is never synced to our servers.
4. Payment Processing
For users upgrading to MailPurge Pro, payments are handled securely by Stripe via ExtensionPay.
- MailPurge does not collect, process, or have access to your credit card information or billing details.
- ExtensionPay manages the licensing state to verify if you have purchased the Pro tier. Please refer to Stripe and ExtensionPay's respective privacy policies for how they handle payment data.
5. Contact
